Signature Programs

Z-HOPE is an interactive, holistic and multidimensional outreach service initiative designed to enhance, cultivate and empower participants to develop health promoting lifestyle choices across the lifespan. Z-HOPE builds on the Sorority's legacy of service by offering a service initiative that addresses the mission-critical needs of a shifting population. Z-HOPE promotes community collaboration by encouraging Zeta chapters to partner with existing community organizations and resources to provide optimal quality programs. Beta Delta Zeta implements a number of Z-HOPE projects, such as: Kid Summit, “A day of educational, informational, and recreational activities targeted toward children in high-risk communities in the City of Philadelphia”; Stork’s Nest, a partnership with the March of Dimes instituted to encourage women to seek prenatal care; Educational Opportunities, via our Saturday Academy for Mobile Young Sisters (SAMYS), and Blue Revue, an annual scholarship event held to raise money for Philadelphia youth seeking financial assistance in an effort to attend institutions of higher learning.
