Originally purchased by the Atlantic Region in 1982, on October 27, 1989, Beta Delta Zeta Chapter purchased Hon. Founder Arizona L. Cleaver Stemons’ home located at 1915 Federal Street in South Philadelphia. Through arduous and persistent fundraising, Beta Delta Zeta funded the restoration of the house where the National President Emerita lived for more than 52 years.

The renovation project culminated with its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony by Dr. Barbara West Caprenter, 21st International President, during the 2000 Grand Boulé in Philadelphia.
